Music I Like: Why Should I Care? - Diana Krall

This is probably my favorite Diana Krall song, and there are a lot of them I like. This one was co-written by none other than Clint Eastwood.

This is good but my favorite Diana Krall songs are from her period before she became famous and hit the big time. She would sing jazz tunes while playing the piano and her work back then before the orchestra and violins, etc, was stunning.

You, sir, are a man of exquisite taste. I've loved Diana Krall's music for years, but this is my favorite. There's something about it that really hits home for me. I don't know if it's the sadness in the lyrics, the longing in the voice, the sax, or what. But I could listen to this one over and over. I seem to recall hearing somewhere that Eastwood had cowritten it. There's a lot more to that man than just the tough guy persona so many people see.
